Gemma is a warm, curious, and empathic psychologist who brings over 15 years of experience working alongside children, adolescents, young adults, and families across a range of settings.
Gemma’s professional journey began as a social worker, before completing postgraduate qualifications in teaching and then progressing to complete a postgraduate degree with honours in psychology. This multidisciplinary background enriches Gemma’s understanding of human behaviour, development, and systemic influences.
Gemma is passionate about supporting others to live a life of purpose, meaning, and connection. Gemma brings a deeply trauma-informed approach to her work, guided not only by professional training and experience but also by lived experience offering clients genuine compassion and insight in their healing journeys.
With a commitment to creating a safe and nurturing therapeutic space, Gemma adopts a holistic client centred and strengths based framework, gently helping clients explore what’s beneath the surface. Her approach is grounded in the belief that healing happens when we are seen, heard, and held with care and curiosity.
Gemma has worked with children, adolescents, and adults across a broad range of neurodivergence, mental illness, disabilities, and life challenges throughout her career.
